Insights & knowledge

Practical explainers on the disciplines we work in — grounded in what we actually build, not reworded industry content.

What we publish

Real explainers, not filler

Insights will cover the same four disciplines the rest of the site is organized around — technology, infrastructure, growth, and creative — plus a dedicated focus on AI search and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), since how businesses get discovered is changing. Every article is written to explain how something actually works, the same standard the rest of the site holds itself to.

Knowledge areas

Organized the same way we work

Technology

Web and software engineering — architecture, build/deploy pipelines, and production reliability.

Infrastructure

DevOps, cloud architecture, and hardware — specified and operated around the real workload.

Growth

Marketing, SEO, social, and generative-engine optimization — how businesses actually get found.

Creative

Brand systems and digital publishing — identity and content built to last, not templated.

AI search & GEO

Traditional SEO optimizes a page to rank in a list of links a crawler indexes. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) optimizes the same underlying information so an AI system — ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Google's AI features — can accurately understand, cite, and recommend a business when answering a question directly. They're related, not identical: a site can rank well and still be poorly understood by an LLM if its information isn't structured and entity-clear.

We don't claim guaranteed AI citations or rankings — no one can promise how a given model responds. What GEO work can do is remove the structural reasons a business gets misunderstood or skipped.

Evidence standards

The same standard as our Work page

Grounded in real work

Articles come from what we actually build and operate — not generic, reworded industry content.

Sources cited, not invented

Where an article references a fact, standard, or third-party data point, it links to a real source.

No fabricated metrics

We won't publish traffic, ranking, or performance numbers we can't back with real evidence.

See also how we apply the same standard to project work and case studies.
